Say No to Bullying
At Priest Elementary, we learn to respect ourselves and others at all times, and in all places. We learn to treat eachother with kindness and consideration so that we can learn in a 'Bully Free Zone". Students, teachers and community members are all responsible to do their part to keep our school and community safe from bullying.
Students who believe they have been bullied, or have seen someone being bullied, should report it to their teacher, or the Principal, or the Assistant Principal, immediately. Any parent who becomes aware of a bullying incedent should report it to the school administration as soon as possible.
Report a bully
Bullying Definition: Bullying is unwanted, aggressive behavior among children that have an imbalance of power and that is repeated, or has the potential to be repeated, over time. Both kids who are bullied and who bully others may have serious, lasting problems.
In order to be considered bullying, the behavior must be aggressive and include:
Bullying includes actions such as making threats, spreading rumors, attacking someone physically or verbally, and excluding someone from a group on purpose.
